How we score & test vendors
Every reviewed vendor gets an independent MSVH Score. Here's exactly how we research, score, and disclose — so you can trust what you read.
Med Spa Vendor Hub reviews are written and scored by our editorial team using a consistent, weighted rubric. Scores are independent: vendors cannot pay for a higher score or ranking. Where a listing is sponsored or contains an affiliate link, it is clearly labelled and that status never influences the score.
The MSVH Score (1.0–5.0)
The overall score is a weighted average of five criteria:
Features & functionality
25%Depth and breadth of capabilities for a med spa — scheduling, EMR/charting, payments/POS, memberships, marketing, reporting.
Ease of use & UX
20%How quickly a front desk, injector, and owner can work in the product day to day; onboarding friction and interface quality.
Value & pricing transparency
20%What you get for the price, how predictable costs are, per-location/add-on fees, and how openly pricing is published.
Med-spa / aesthetics fit
20%Aesthetics-specific strength: clinical charting, before-&-after imaging, consents, injectables & device workflows, memberships, and compliance.
Support & onboarding
15%Quality and availability of implementation help, training, and ongoing support.
Independent research
We assess each tool from hands-on use where possible, plus official documentation, live pricing pages, demos, and verified customer feedback.
Cited third-party ratings
We display scores from platforms like G2, Capterra and Trustpilot with attribution and links. Those are shown as context — they are not our score and we never republish them as our own aggregate rating.
Kept current
Each review carries a "last tested" date and is revisited as products and pricing change. Pricing is directional — always confirm current rates with the vendor.
No pay-to-play
Sponsorship and affiliate relationships are always disclosed and never affect scores, rankings within a comparison, or whether a tool is recommended.
