Our verdict

The most complete single-vendor injectables portfolio in aesthetics — Dysport, Restylane, Sculptra and Alastin under one rebate structure with ASPIRE retention behind it — held back only by second-place consumer brand pull and the usual rep-negotiated pricing opacity.

About

Galderma, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland and publicly listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since its 2024 IPO, is the world's largest independent dermatology company — and for med spas, the vendor with the widest single-account spread of injectable modalities. One Galderma account covers a neurotoxin (Dysport), a full HA filler family (Restylane, including Lyft, Kysse, Contour and Defyne with flexible OBT/XpresHAn technology), the leading poly-L-lactic-acid collagen biostimulator (Sculptra) and the Alastin medical-grade skincare line acquired in 2021.

That breadth matters commercially: a practice can consolidate toxin, structural filler, lip filler, biostimulator and retail skincare volume with one rep and one rebate structure. The ASPIRE Galderma Rewards program is the main US rival to Allergan's Allē, giving patients points across the Galderma portfolio and giving practices a funded retention channel. Pricing, as everywhere in pharma aesthetics, is account-negotiated through the rep network rather than published.

Ideal customer

Med spas that want to consolidate toxin, filler, biostimulator and skincare purchasing with one manufacturer — especially practices building regenerative/biostimulator menus around Sculptra or seeking stronger negotiated economics than a Botox-only shelf allows.

Our Galderma review

Where Galderma fits

Galderma is the world's largest independent dermatology company — independent again in the fullest sense since its 2024 IPO on the SIX Swiss Exchange — and, for the med-spa buyer, the most complete counterweight to Allergan Aesthetics. Its pitch is breadth: a single Galderma account covers Dysport (the leading US alternative neurotoxin), the Restylane HA filler family (Lyft for structure, Kysse for lips, Contour for cheeks, Defyne for dynamic folds), Sculptra (the poly-L-lactic-acid biostimulator that anchors most regenerative-aesthetics menus) and Alastin, one of the most respected medical-grade skincare lines. No other manufacturer lets a practice consolidate that many modalities under one rep and one rebate structure.

What stands out

  • The widest spread on the shelf. Toxin, structural and flexible HA fillers, a biostimulator with no direct Allergan equivalent, and clinic-retail skincare — from one account. For procurement, that means fewer vendor relationships; for negotiation, it means every syringe of Restylane strengthens your Dysport pricing.
  • Sculptra. As med-spa menus shift toward collagen banking and regenerative positioning, Sculptra is the category-defining PLLA product, giving Galderma accounts a differentiated, high-margin service line competitors can't match like-for-like.
  • ASPIRE Galderma Rewards. The main credible rival to Allē. Patients earn points across the whole Galderma portfolio, and the practice-facing program funds promotions and retention campaigns that measurably support rebooking.
  • Clinical credibility. Restylane is the most-studied HA filler family in the world, Dysport has decades of global data, and the GAIN education network provides solid injector training and onboarding support.

Where it falls short

  • Brand pull is second, not first. Patients ask for Botox by name; fewer ask for Dysport. Restylane has strong recognition but still trails Juvéderm in consumer awareness. Practices leading with Galderma products should budget for slightly more patient education and menu marketing.
  • Opaque, commitment-driven pricing. There is no price list; economics depend on cross-portfolio volume tiers negotiated with your rep. The consolidation discount is real, but it also concentrates switching costs — unwinding a heavily ASPIRE-integrated shelf is not trivial.
  • Loyalty scale. ASPIRE is well-built, but its membership base and promotional firepower remain smaller than Allē's, so the retention tailwind is somewhat weaker.
  • Territory variance. As with every pharma rep model, support quality depends heavily on your local rep, and smaller accounts can find attention inconsistent.

Who should choose it

Galderma is the strongest choice for med spas that want portfolio consolidation and negotiating leverage: practices running toxin, filler, biostimulator and skincare through one account will usually see better blended economics than splitting the same volume across three vendors. It is close to mandatory for practices building a regenerative menu — Sculptra alone justifies the account — and an excellent primary or co-primary supplier alongside Allergan, letting practices arbitrage promotions between Allē and ASPIRE. A licensed prescriber or medical director is required to open the account. Practices whose patient base is strongly brand-driven toward Botox and Juvéderm should still carry Galderma, but weight it as the second account and negotiate accordingly.

Key features

  • Dysport neurotoxin — the leading US Botox alternative
  • Restylane family: Lyft, Kysse, Contour, Defyne
  • Sculptra — the leading PLLA collagen biostimulator
  • Alastin medical-grade skincare line
  • ASPIRE Galderma Rewards — the main Allē rival
  • Widest single-vendor modality spread (toxin + HA + biostimulator + skincare)
  • GAIN injector training and clinical education

Pricing

No published pricing. A wholesale account requires an appropriately licensed prescriber/medical director — Dysport, Restylane and Sculptra are prescription products restricted to licensed medical purchasers. Per-unit and per-syringe pricing is negotiated with your Galderma rep based on cross-portfolio volume commitments and rebate tiers; consolidating toxin + filler + Sculptra volume typically unlocks better effective economics. ASPIRE practice participation and consumer promotions affect net cost, so evaluate net-of-rebate pricing.

Practice account

Custom/negotiated

per order via rep / Galderma ordering

Med spas establish a wholesale account under a licensed medical director, then order Dysport, Restylane, Sculptra and Alastin through their field rep and Galderma's ordering channels, with tiered pricing driven by consolidated portfolio volume.

Pricing is researched from public sources and verified periodically; confirm current rates with the vendor.
