Injectables EDU is a nurse-built answer to a common complaint about injectables courses: too many students, too few injections, and instructors who have never worked as nurse injectors themselves. Founded by two CRNA/DNP nurse anesthetists, the program is explicitly designed for RNs, NPs and CRNAs entering aesthetics — the exact clinicians most med spas are hiring.

The format is a deliberate two-step. Students first complete a full-face online mapping curriculum covering anatomy and injection planning, then attend an in-person hands-on day in Portland, Orlando, Atlanta or Richmond. The course carries 6.35 AANP contact hours, which gives nurse attendees accredited CE credit alongside the aesthetic training itself.

What stands out

• Class size and ratio. Sessions are capped at 12 attendees with a 1:6 instructor-to-student ratio — among the tightest published numbers in the category, and the single best predictor of how much supervised injecting you will actually do.
• Nurse-to-nurse teaching. Being founded and taught by CRNA/DNP clinicians means the scope-of-practice, delegation and supervision questions nurse injectors face are addressed by people who have lived them.

Where it falls short

The main constraints are logistical and financial rather than educational. Hands-on training runs in only four cities — Portland, Orlando, Atlanta and Richmond — so most attendees will travel, and cohort caps mean dates can fill. Tuition is quoted rather than fully published, which costs the program marks on pricing transparency, and there is a variable line item to plan for: Botox used during the hands-on portion is billed at $8 per unit. That model is defensible — it ties cost to actual product injected rather than padding tuition — but it means your final bill depends on how much you inject, so ask for a realistic total-cost estimate up front.

Positioning is also worth noting: this is a nurse-focused program. Physicians and dentists can certainly learn here, but the curriculum, CE accreditation and marketing all center nurse injectors. And as a newer boutique brand, Injectables EDU does not yet have the decades-long track record or third-party review depth of legacy trainers, which is why we publish no aggregate ratings.

Who should choose it

Choose Injectables EDU if you are an RN, NP or CRNA entering aesthetics — or a med spa owner training one — and you prioritize supervised injection volume over brand-name convenience. The 12-person cap and 1:6 ratio directly address the most common failure mode of injectables courses, and the AANP contact hours are a genuine bonus for nurses. Confirm total cost including per-unit Botox billing, and book early around the four host cities.
