About

QuantifiCare is the leading vendor dedicated specifically to 3D photography for aesthetics. Its LifeViz family — Mini and Mini Pro for the face, Body for body contouring, and Infinity at the top of the line — captures a three-shot sequence that auto-stitches into a 3D model of the face or body.

The accompanying software is built around the before-and-after workflow med spas actually run: side-by-side and slider comparisons, precise image overlay for repeatable follow-ups, and volume and measurement tools that quantify filler, deoxycholic-acid, and body-contouring results. The company grew out of clinical-trial imaging services, and that pedigree shows in the standardization tooling. Systems are sold as capital equipment on custom quotes.

Ideal customer

Injectable- and body-contouring-focused med spas that want portable, standardized 3D before/after photography with quantified volume results, at a lighter footprint than a booth system.

Our QuantifiCare review

Where QuantifiCare fits

QuantifiCare does one thing and does it exceptionally well: dedicated 3D photography for aesthetics. The LifeViz family runs from the Mini and Mini Pro for facial work, through the Body for contouring practices, up to the Infinity for clinics that want one system covering face and body. Where Canfield sells a whole imaging ecosystem, QuantifiCare sells a focused instrument for the highest-value imaging job in a med spa — proving that an injectable or body treatment actually worked.

The capture model is distinctive. Instead of a fixed booth, LifeViz is a camera-based system: a three-shot sequence is automatically stitched into a 3D model of the face or body, with beam-based distance guides keeping capture distance consistent visit to visit. The company grew out of clinical-trial imaging services, and that heritage is evident in how hard the workflow pushes standardization — the thing that separates a persuasive before/after from a lighting trick.

What stands out

  • Quantified outcomes. The volume and measurement tools are the headline. Being able to show a patient that a filler treatment added a measured volume to the midface, or overlay a pre/post body scan with a slider, turns follow-up appointments into retention and review-generation moments.
  • The before/after workflow. Overlay-guided recapture, side-by-side and slider comparisons, and clean patient-facing reports map directly onto how med spas sell treatment series and memberships.
  • Portability. A handheld camera system moves between treatment rooms and locations in a way a booth cannot, and it needs no dedicated imaging room — a practical win for smaller footprints.
  • Range within the specialty. Mini for a facially focused injector, Body for a contouring practice, Infinity for both; the line lets you buy only the coverage you need.

Where it falls short

  • Pricing opacity. Like nearly every device in this category, LifeViz is sold on custom quotes with no published pricing, so comparison shopping requires sales calls on every side. Financing is commonly available and should be part of the quote conversation.
  • No complexion analysis. LifeViz photographs and measures shape and surface; it does not do the UV, porphyrin, and pigmentation analysis that makes VISIA-class devices such strong skincare-consult tools. Practices whose consults center on skin quality rather than volume should weigh a complexion system first or alongside.
  • Operator dependence. The portability that makes LifeViz flexible also means capture quality leans on operator technique more than a fixed booth does. The guides mitigate this, but training and a consistent photo protocol still matter.
  • Portfolio ceiling. If your needs later expand to total-body mapping or complexion stations, you will be adding a second vendor.

Who should choose it

Choose QuantifiCare if injectables or body contouring are the engine of your revenue and you want 3D before/after evidence with numbers behind it. It is the strongest dedicated 3D photography choice in the category, at a lighter physical and workflow footprint than booth systems. During the demo, have your own staff run the three-shot capture on a real patient, check recapture alignment at a simulated follow-up, and get the full quote — hardware, software modules, training, support, and financing — in writing before comparing against a VECTRA H-series quote from Canfield.
